The Danny Green Trio Plus Strings performed at the 2019 Telluride Jazz Festival this past August. The performance featured the world premiere of Green’s three-movement work entitled “When The Sun Broke Through.”
Green also played with LP And The Vinyl at the Telluride Jazz Festival. Here is footage of the group playing a song co-written by Green and vocalist Leonard Patton entitled “The Lonely Band.”
LP And The Vinyl is currently in production on their debut album, which features arrangements of classic hits by The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Tears For Fears, Sound Garden, and Quincy Jones, as well as jazz standards, and original songs. The album will be released in 2020.
