The Danny Green Trio Plus Strings is currently in production on a new album featuring ten of Green’s latest works for jazz trio and string quartet. Green is joined by longtime trio members Justin Grinnell on bass, and Julien Cantelm on drums, as well as San Diego Symphony violinists Kate Hatmaker and Igor Pandurski, violist Travis Maril, and cellist Erica Erenyi. The album is slated for release in April 2018 on Origin Records.

The Danny Green Trio had a wonderful time touring the California coast this past August. They performed for a packed house at the San Jose Jazz Summer Fest. Here’s footage of the trio performing Green’s “November Reveries” at the San Jose Summer Jazz Fest.
The Danny Green Trio Plus Strings gave a sold out performance at the Museum of Making Music in August. They debuted several of Green’s new arrangements for trio with strings, including “Time Lapse To Fall.”
